A case has been registered in
Siricilla police station against the producers and director of Mukunda. Yadava
community has slapped the case against producers Nallamalapu Bujji, Tagore
Madhu and director Srikanth Addala for allegedly showing Yadava community in poor
light in the film.
Apparently hurt by the manner in
which their community is dealt in the movie, the leaders of the community
lodged case against the makers demanding for an apology and to remove few
portions of the film. The makers of Mukunda are yet to respond to the community
leaders’ demands.
The movie which marks the debut of
Varun Tej Konidela, son of Naga Babu, released on Dec 24 and it opened to mixed
reviews. Lack of entertainment and the movie’s slow pace were panned by
critics.
