It is really a very sad news.
K.Balachander, who is considered as the one of the greatest Indian film makers,
has passed away today.
He is 84. He has been suffering
from an illness for a while and has breathed his last at Kauvery hospital in
Chennai. His son Kailasam also passed away this year.
Known as a maverick director,
Balachander has directed some great films. This legendary filmmaker has
produced many great actors to the industry like Kamal Haasan, Rajinikanth,
Prakash Raj etc. He is an inspiration to many directors. He was a recipient of
numerous awards and is a mulitiple national award winner.
