In his
recent interview, Ram Charan shared: "Srinu Vytla met me 3-4 times to
narrate the story but I am yet to take a final call. Even Mani Ratnam
approached us with a story, but we told it won't work for us. He is now making
the same film with Mammooty's Son. Surely, I will work under his direction one
day. I have a Telugu-Tamil film with Gautham Menon and it might start next
year. Storyline narrated by Kona Venkat-Gopi Mohan is very good. They are now
working on the bound script. It will go on floors next year. Director is yet to
be finalised".
When asked
why Koratala Siva's film was shelved, Charan clarified he would accept advance
only 1 week before the film goes on to the sets. Though Koratala Siva's
storyline was good, the bound script didn't meet his expectations. He blames
Bandla Ganesh for holding pooja ceremony in a hurry just because of good
muhurat. However, Charan declared he would surely work with Koratala Siva one
day.
Ram Charan
is well aware of the criticism he received for 'Zanjeer'. Hence, He claims to
be taking time to finalize his next project.
