TV anchor Anasuya is signing her debut film with a newcomer. Exactly a year back when the makers of Attarintiki Daredi offered TV anchor Anasuya a role in a special song in the movie, she, not wanting to appear in an “item” number, had refused outright inviting criticism from Power Star’s fans on missing out on a big opportunity, but the anchor-turned-actress seemed disinterested in responding to fans.


The news that is now making rounds in film circles is that Anasuya is being paid a whopping Rs 1 crore for the film and that she might increase her remuneration slightly if the producer needs her to commit three months of her time for the film.
