Who ever
watches this movie, they get into one conclusion for sure is “Its just useless
to expect a better and decent flick from Maruthi and his co..”. Stick to it,and
read the review.
Story:
Its all
about a boy called Siddhu aka Sriram (Sumanth Ashwin) who is desparate to fall
in love (like in any other Maruthi’s films) and a girl Chitra BalaSubramaniyam(
Nanditha) who hates love . Coincidentally Chitra spoils siddhu’s love affairs a
couple of times, which makes him anger and wants to take revenge on Chitra. And
one fine day,Siddhu happens to see Chitra in college (never seen him sitting in
a class)and falls in love at first sight. But he doesn’t know that she is the
same girl who earlier has disturbed his love stories . On the other side,
Siddhu’s close friend Sreenu loves a girl who is a close friend of Chitra.
Then
starts the struggle for Sreenu and Siddhu, as Chitra comes in between and
successfully separates Sreenu and her friend. This naturally upsets Srinu and
also Siddhu. He then decides to kill that unknown girl who disturbed his close
buddy’s love life. Then comes the most awaited and anticipated twist. He
realizes that the girl who hates the most is his dream girl only.
What does
Siddhu do to win his love forms the rest of the story.
Analysis:
Director
of this movie Harinath should be Maruthi’s pet ,as he did not cross the borders
that his master Maruthi has set for him. He has shown no hesitations to fill
the entire film with some explicit content and dialogues,to make sure this
connect with youth instantly. Undoubtedly mission completed successfully.
No one
knows, what Maruthi has to tell the audience always with his weird double
meaning dialogues, abusive scenes on women. Other than his so called image,in
what way he helps any other director to whom he pens those irritating dialogues, screenplay
and other stuff?
JB’ s
music other than a couple of tracks, its pretty average.
As the
formula is well balanced with those double meaning dialogues, and disgusting
scenes, one can expect this to be a big winner. But would it be for a week or
two,time will decide.
Performances:
Sumanth
Ashwin: As usually, tried his best to fit well in the character that he is
given. Simple action, but he needs to improve a lot,as we all know he is a much
better actor than he looked in “Lovers”. Which is proved already by
“Anthakumundu Aataruvatha”, directed by a sensible and decent director
Indraganti Mohanakrishna.
Nanditha:
Totally disappoints, compared to her last outing in Maruthi’s flick “Prema Katha
Chitram”. She couldn’t manage well few emotional scenes. Her sexy eyes and
chubby cheeks were so much appealing than her diction or acting skills.
Sapthagiri:
One would get impressed by the way this comedian emerging from film to film .
Undoubtedly, tempo of the film seems to be raising in the second half once
Sapthagiri enters. Due to the poor story line and idiotic comedy scenes,
Saptharigi couldn’t do anything special hence he was has stick to his basics
and delivered the goods in his own slang and style. One thing is for sure
that,he is misused in the film.
