From a time, debutant mega hero
Varun Tej’s movie, tentatively titled ‘Gollabhama’, which is being directed by
talented Srikanth Addala is getting its shoot done at Konaseema region of
Godavari districts in Andhra Pradesh. Shooting of this flick was halted for
almost three days sometime back and here comes the reason behind it.
Apparently, hero Varun Tej and
director Srikanth Addala are heavily moved by the death of almost 17 victims in
the recent gas-pipeline leakage blast that happened at Nagaram village in
coastal Andhra. The team of ‘Gollabhama’ is said to be shooting at a spot
nearby when the incident took place. To pay condolence to the victims, they
have decided to cancel the shoot for at least three days despite thinking any
production costs that incur them a loss. This move is now being applauded by
many bigwigs of the industry.
Director Srikantha Addala hails
from the same region and he is quite connected to his native land that the two
films he has made till date showcase it. Even Gollabhama is also having the
Konaseema backdrop and all this ‘pipeline blast’ should have surely disturbed
him to the core.
