It has been fall from grace for singer Ankit Tiwari who shot
to fame with the song Sun Raha Hai Na from ‘Aashique 2’. The singer has been
arrested along with his brother Ankur Tiwari in a rape case. According to
sources, Ankit promised his girl friend, a 28yrs old event management
professional to marry but went back on his words. Police say, she was staying
along with her sister in Mumbai and all the four used to meet quite frequently.
Police say Ankit came to meet his girl friend and raped her when she was alone
at her house. Later Anukr Tiwari threatened the victim.
