Madhu Shalini’s recent
video — exhorting her fans to vote — has gone viral, thanks to the titillating
way in which it was shot.
Explaining the reason behind the seductive video, the actress
says, “Earlier when I asked people to vote in a straightforward manner, I don’t
think anybody paid any attention. But when I appealed the same in an unusual manner,
everybody is watching it now.
Madhu Shalini adds, “I did it on my own. I maintain the husky
voice throughout the video and people expect a lot, but they are disappointed.
Some people did not understand it, but whoever understood, appreciated my
efforts,” she says.
When pointed out that the video almost looks like “porn”, she
laughs. “That’s the problem as what people are expecting is not there in the
