Brahmi lost Rs. 2 crores

Lukewarm response for "Basanti", has put the career of young actor Gautam, son of star comedian, in the dock. Although, Brahmi used all his goodwill in the industry and roped in superstars in promoting the film, the contrived plot around terrorism fail to set box office on fire. 

Along with goodwill, Brahmi has reportedly pumped in more than Rs. 2 crores, to justify the big canvass of the film, but it went in vain. Few industry bigwigs suggest that Gautam is not a 'star material' and could some interesting 'character roles' but Gautam is not willing to budge and we have to see, what's in store for him. Hope Gautham will resurrect his career soon and come to limelight like his veteran father.
