Sekhar Kammula directorial Anamika first copy has been sent to censor board and the board members who watched the film has certified the movie with U/A. The official release date is to be announced by the makers.
With Nayanatara in the title role who comes in search of her missing husband, Anamika is a suspense thriller, the adapted remake version of Bollywood hit film Kahaani that has Vidya Balan in the lead, for which the actress won critical-applauses and best actress awards.
Sekhar Kammula has made lots of changes to the script and Sekhar Kammula will not be seen as pregnant unlike Vidya Balan in the original. Endemol India banner produced the movie in Telugu and Tamil versions with Keeravani as the
music director.
