Below is this week's trade buzz of Nani's Aaha Kalyanam, Paisa and other films Traffic, Na Rakumarudu.

1. With Telugu producers slowing down productions considering prevailing conditions in the State, we should heartily welcome leading B-town production house Yash Raj Films. The renowned production house, which churned out films like 'Dhoom 3', 'Ishqzaade', 'Shudh Desi Romance' and 'Gunndayy', must have been disappointed with the mixed openings for their maiden Telugu film 'Aha Kalayanam'.

Despite pumping in crores of rupees on publicity, the Nani-Vani starrer couldn't pull in decent openings and just managed to garner around Rs 1 crore, on Day 1, despite 40-odd theaters in twin cities, reasons are  many. May be, its rehash Jabardasth lingering on the minds of audience, although, Aha stands out for good performance by Nani and Vani. We have to wait and see, whether it could pick up on word-of-mouth in next few days, to change its trajectory.

2. However, Nani's other release 'Paisa' which garnered good openings collection of around Rs.2 crores on Day 1, later on fizzled out. Our sources claim that producers didn't promote the film as they gave it up, since producers reportedly went through lot of financial diiffculties to just release the film.

3. Dubbed-film 'Traffic', which received critical acclaim, didn't fare well at ticket windows taking everyone by surprise. And other much bad performers at Box Office are 'Naa Rakumarudu', 'Pranam Kosam', which opened to lukewarm response. So it hasn't been encouraging box office report.
