Indian anchor turned actress Manchu Lakshmi is more related to Hollywood films than Indian films as she started her career in Hollywood and later joined in Indian films. Despite of her father successful track in Tollywood she never was seen on screens in past until she left America. Now she is working for an American film “Basmathi Blues”.Manchu lakshmi will be playing Sita role in film that falls in love with a foreign scientist who enters India to sell his experimental rice grains. Manchu Lakshmi is having some fun time on sets with Hollywood stars and he shares her feeling while working with them and how she made them to dance for a Bollywood folk track.
She explains as follows “It feels great to be working with an American crew after a long time. I love the enthusiasm that they have about making a film. It’s not just a mere job for them. We shot for this film in Mumbai, Kerala and the US, and I’m looking forward to the film’s release later this year,” She also adds “We shot the film in some breathtaking locales in the interiors of Kerala and I didn’t even know such places existed.”
