Vikram's Shankar directed I
theatrical trailer made the movie bankable. It is evident from the business I
movie made through its distribution all over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
I producer Aascar Ravichandran who
was waiting for the distributors to theater his film I in the Telugu states,
sold out the distribution rights of I, area wise for whooping prices. The
amounts have shocked Telugu distributors, as they paid more than what they
usually give out for a movie starring front line Telugu actor.
Accordingly, Kavuri Creations
bagged I rights all over Krishna for 2.25 Cr, while an Ongole party bought
Guntur- 3.6 Cr. Others include Nizam -12 Cr, Ceeded – 7 Cr, Vizag – 3.5 Cr,
East Godavari – 2.75 Cr, West Godavari – 2 Cr and Nellore – 1.5 Cr.
I beats the pre-release business of
Superstar Rajinikanth's Robo, which has approximately collected Rs.37 Cr in AP
and TN regions.
