Vijay Kaththi First Day Collections

Tamil super star Vijay's "Kaththi" has taken a humongous opening at box offices in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka.The film which released yesterday opened with record openings and as per reports the film has set cash registers ringing by collecting Rs.15.5 Crores, an all time record in Kollywood.

After lot of controversies, Kaththi is opened to around 450 screens across Tamil Nadu.

Vijay Kaththi First Day Collections:

Tamil Nadu - 12.00 Crores

Kerala         - 1.75 Crores

Karnataka   - 1.5 Crores

Rest of India - 0.25 Crores

Total          - 15.5 Crores (All Time Record for Vijay in India)

Kaththi is biggest opener in Karnataka and second best in Kerala while Vijay Jilla holds first place. Vijay essayed contrasting shades and pulled off with great ease. Its known that Vijay is a big fan of power star Pawan Klayn and surprisingly the collections of Kaththi is more than first day collections of Pawan Industry hit movie AD.The movie will be dubbed into Telugu and release by October 31st we hear.
